Staff at Specsavers in Burton-on-Trent have raised £171 for Cancer Research as part of the town-wide Turn Burton Pink fundraising event.
The High Street store decorated its shop front with giant pink glasses and offered homemade sweet treats to customers in return for donations.
Store director Linda Joyce said: “We absolutely love getting involved in Turn Burton Pink. It brings out the best of Burton and it’s brilliant to see so many local businesses coming together to help raise money for Cancer Research.”
She thanked the team for baking cakes and customers for supporting the fundraiser.
“We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who came into the store and helped us to reach our fundraising total,” she said.
The photograph supplied with the release shows colleagues Leah Thomas and Zahra Jamil outside the decorated store window.
The fundraising total and comments were supplied by Target on behalf of Specsavers Burton.
