Defender Nick Akoto has left Burton Albion after terminating his contract to join National League side Eastleigh. The 27-year-old made 33 appearances during his two-year spell at the Pirelli Stadium, having arrived from American club South Georgia Tormenta FC.
Akoto's Burton Career
Akoto scored once during his time with the Brewers, netting in a 5-2 EFL Trophy victory away at Northampton Town in the 2024/25 season.
Move to the South Coast
The defender will now join Eastleigh, the South coast club that finished 17th in the National League last campaign. Eastleigh will compete in their thirteenth consecutive season in the fifth tier of English football in the coming season.
