Burton Albion FC has announced that the Greyhound Trust will continue as the Club's charity partner for a second season, with an enhanced agreement making the organisation the Club's Official Charity Partner for the 2026/27 campaign.
The Greyhound Trust will maintain a presence at the Pirelli Stadium through an advertising board that will support the charity's work and raise awareness among Burton Albion supporters throughout the season.
About the Partnership
The enhanced partnership builds on the relationship established last season and reflects Burton Albion's commitment to supporting organisations making a positive difference within the community.
The Greyhound Trust is dedicated to finding loving homes for retired racing greyhounds, promoting responsible ownership, and educating the public about the breed. Through its network of centres and supporters, the charity provides care and new homes for greyhounds.
What the Partners Say
Steph Major, Branch Lead for Greyhound Trust Burton-Upon-Trent, said: "Being part of the local community is hugely important to us at Greyhound Trust Burton-upon-Trent, and this partnership gives us a fantastic opportunity to introduce even more people to greyhounds and show what wonderful companions they can make."
Jordan Worthington, Head of Sales at Burton Albion, added: "The work they do to provide care and loving homes for retired greyhounds is fantastic, and we're pleased to be able to use the Club's platform to help raise awareness of their work among our supporters."
