Burton Albion's squad trained at St George's Park on Thursday morning to prepare for their Carabao Cup first round tie against Blackburn Rovers at the Pirelli Stadium this weekend.
Manager Gary Bowyer put his players through their paces as the Brewers gear up to face Tony Mowbray's side. The two clubs meet for the first time since the 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season, when Burton finished above Rovers — Blackburn were relegated to the third tier on the final day of that campaign.
