Burton Albion's first home pre-season fixture ended in a 3-0 defeat to Leicester City. Manager Gary Bowyer's side used two rotated XIs against the Foxes, with the visitors dominating possession for much of the match.
First Half
Corey Addai made several important saves for Albion in the first half, including denying Stephy Mavididi twice. Leicester broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time when Kirsten Otchere tapped in from close range following Olabade Aluko's cross.
Second Half
Albion made wholesale changes to their lineup at the start of the second half. Will Alves doubled Leicester's advantage in the 65th minute with a finish into the bottom left corner, before Nathan Opoku added a third in the 81st minute.
